Why these items?
Box and mattress → Baby Boxes are designed to be a comfy, safe space for infants to sit while their caregiver is busy and unable to hold them.
Onesies, socks, baby hat, bib, and blanket → Keeping babies clothed and warm helps them conserve energy and build up reserves—which is especially important for premature infants.
Face cloth, baby towel, baby soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, diaper cream, and vaseline → Safe and healthy hygiene habits are especially important for infants to avoid the spread of bacteria.
Sanitary pads → Baby Boxes are designed to serve mothers as well as infants, making sanitary products for menstruation an integral component.
Diapers → Diapers are the most frequently used—and sometimes expensive—resource for newborn babies.
Thermometer → Fever is a reliable and easy-to-spot sign of illness in infants that could potentially be dangerous and require medical attention.
Teething toy → Teething toys are a great source of fun for babies—as well as a source of relief for caregivers when teething begins!
