New Birthing Model to Improve Outcomes

This new model referred to as “TeamBirth” focuses on reducing poor maternal outcomes due to bias–a complication pregnant Black women are at even higher risk for–and increasing patient autonomy. Care team members hold huddles with patients at regular intervals to stay updated on patient conditions and preferences.
