Baby box: evaluation

Scotland’s Baby Box scheme is aimed at improving child welfare and outcomes by targeting inequality. The boxes are designed to reinforce beneficial parenting techniques and prompt parents to engage with child healthcare services. As part of an evaluation of the project to assess its impacts, parents reported both financial and wider, non-financial benefits for their families as a result of the baby boxes.
